PRIVACY POLICY

We take privacy seriously and we are committed to ensuring that we comply with our obligations under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. 

This Privacy Policy explains how we manage the personal information that is collected, used, disclosed and held by us.  We will review this Privacy Policy periodically and may update it.  The current version will be available on our website.  We recommend that you review it periodically.   

Personal information means information or an opinion about an identified individual or an individual who is reasonably identifiable whether the information or opinion is true or not and whether the information or opinion is recorded in material form or not. 

The kinds of information we collect and hold includes: name, address, date of birth, email, phone numbers, identification information, bank account, card and payment information, transaction information, source of wealth, source of funds and other information associated with AML/CTF laws, marketing preferences, responsible gambling information including BetStop status, communications history and call recordings, and other information reasonably required to operate our business.  We use cookies and similar tools to track the use of our platforms.  We may also collect information when a person applies for employment or engagement with us.

We collect information from you directly when you open a betting account with us or otherwise use our products, services or platforms.   We also collect information from third parties and open sources.  You can browse our platforms without opening an account.  However, if you wish to open or operate an account or bet with us, you must provide us with certain information so that we can meet our regulatory requirements and provide our services to you.

We may disclose information to our licensing body and public racing authorities such as RVL, RNSW and RQ for the purposes of them administering and ensuring the integrity of their events and industry participants.  Those bodies are subject to their own Privacy Policy which will be available on their website, and they may disclose your information to a third-party service provider for the purposes of fulfilling their regulatory functions.  

Our operations are conducted predominantly within Australia.  Like most businesses, some of our service providers may require the overseas disclosure of your information in a secure manner.  The country in which these third parties are likely to be located is the United States.  If this occurs, we will take reasonable steps to ensure your personal information is handled to the same standard as Australian privacy laws.

Some of your personal information can be accessed within our platforms in the My Account section.  To otherwise request access to your personal information, you can contact us by live chat or by the contact details on the Contact page.  We may not provide some information to you if it is commercial in-confidence, sensitive and/or subject to an exemption under the Privacy Act.  We may (at our discretion) charge a reasonable fee to you for providing access to your personal information, although we will not charge a fee for making an access request.
